Music Week 2010

Music Week was held August 16 to 20.  Christine Conway-Jarrett and her helpers met each day with children in St Martin’s and Exning Church & Community Hall to sing, dance, make and paint as they worked on some of the songs from for "Joseph & his Technicolor Dreamcoat" which were performed during "Worship for All" at St Martin's on Sunday August 22. Technicolor is a registered trademark

Rehearsals
New songs were learned each day.
Mostly these were of the whole group in Church ..... .... with some for soloists in the Hall
The Narrators ... and dance rehearsal
Crafts
Each day there were craft sessions where the children made items related to the story of Joseph
This involved cutting, sticking and colouring They made figures of Joseph and his multi coloured coat
Jacob's sheep Fat & Thin cows and Plump & Thin corn from Pharaoh's dream
Games
There were opportunities to "let of steam" with games
In the hall.........
outside......... ....in Church.
Performing
The songs they learned from for "Joseph & his Technicolor Dreamcoat" were performed during "Worship for All" at St Martin's on Sunday August 22.
The church was full with admiring parents........ with a full cast
The narrators and "Pharaoh" Music was provided on piano, accordion & guitar
